Account
Delete your account.
Everything goes, at once. It can't be undone.
Three ways to do it
- In the app. Open Startr, then Settings → Delete account. It's done straight away.
- On this page. Type the 8-character code from Settings → Link another device in the form below. That code is the proof the account is yours, so keep it to yourself.
- No app, no code? Write to us and say when and on which device you used Startr. Your account has no name or email on it, so without the code we may not be able to find it.
What is deleted
Your thing, your steps, planned times and places, your day-by-day history, night checks and weekly resets, device link requests, support messages you sent from the app or with your code, and the anonymous sign-in itself. If you linked Google or Apple, that link goes too.
Subscriptions
- Bought on the web (Stripe): cancelled the moment you delete, so you won't be charged again. For a refund of a recent charge, write to us within 14 days.
- Bought in the App Store or Google Play: billed by Apple or Google. Deleting your Startr account does not stop it. Cancel it in your store account first.
What is kept
Stripe keeps its records of past payments, such as invoices, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep nothing else: there are no backup copies of your Startr data.
Deleted.
Your account and everything in it are gone. If Startr is still open on a device, it starts fresh the next time it loads.
